A wasp is a pest because it eats all things except us humans and kills butterflies. They destroy native insects homes and they attack bees. They eat baby bird chicks from bird nests and there are about 20 wasp nests and each nest has about 5 thousand in a nest. On Monday the 24th of may my teacher told us to make a structured overview. We had to make a slide and this is my one. We made our work on google slides. (in our literacy groups)

What Good are Wings without the Courage to Fly?

On Friday it was anti bullying/pink shirt day. We had to were pink but we could were our school uniform if we did not have pink. It was so fun.

In Tui class (My class) we made 4 fethers each. Our techer made some angle wings with the fethers we made. My techer also wrote What Good are Wings without the Courage to Fly? 

Amazing Pohutukawa art.

 My class made some pohutukawa art. We had to draft and draft until we thought it was good. It was hard because we had to look carefully at it. We made it because we are focusing on the Bush/Te ngahere. It was fun because we dyed it and these are the colors Red,Green,Blue and Purple. We had to use black crayons and white if we wanted to and the white made the dye not be on it. The black just made it look a little bit realistic. It was challenging because we had to get every detail correct. I am proud of my work because it looks cool,realistic and colorful.
